Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking Both New and Secondhand Available Incorporating aisles at approximately half the width required in Standard Adjustable Pallet Racking wide aisle layouts, the use of a Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking system (in conjunction with specialised forklift trucks) allows for the optimum use of height and floor space, whilst still allowing individual access to each pallet stored. Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking can be accessed with either 'man-down' or 'man-up' specialised trucks, and these would require the installation of either steel guide rails or electric wire guidance at floor level. Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking can also be accessed using articulated counterbalance trucks, with no need for a floor level guidance system. Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking is precision designed for safe, efficient load handling within the confines of its space saving aisles. Another aid to speed and efficiency is the use of Pick up and Deposit stations at the end of each run of racking. These allow for the temporary storage of pallets to be put away into the racking, or the retrieval of pallets that have just been removed from the racking. P&D stations can be accessed using conventional forklift trucks. The size and the strength of the frames and the beams used in Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking are selected to accommodate the size and weight of your pallets. Loading capacities are calculated in accordance with the SEMA Code of Practice for the Design of Static Racking.
