Chipboard Decking Chipboard decking is principally used to form a shelf or picking level within a pallet racking installation, onto which hand loaded items can be stored. The decking is fixed into its position on the beams by the use of either clips or TEK screws. The decking can be supplied in a variety of thicknesses. Comprehensive loading tables are used to calculate exactly what thickness of decking is required for any given loading situation.
