Drive In Pallet Racking provides exceptional stock density, and makes the maximum use of the floor space available.

Drive-In Pallet Racking systems consist of continuous blocks of pallet storage, divided into individual ‘lanes’. The pallets sit on rails, which extend through the Drive In lanes to the full depth of the installation. Pallets are stored and retrieved by the forklift truck driving in to the lanes.

With the first pallet into a lane being the last pallet out, stock selectivity is restricted. As such, Drive-In Pallet Racking is typically used in areas where stock lines are limited, and selectivity and stock rotation are not critical factors.

Drive In Pallet Racking can be accessed by conventional forklift trucks, either counter balance or reach trucks.

The size and the strength of the racking components used in Drive In Racking are selected to accommodate the size and weight of your pallets (though this type of racking system does have restrictions on the size and type of pallet you can use). Loading capacities are calculated in accordance with the SEMA Code of Practice for the Design of Static Racking.
