A Chiltern Storage Systems installation from May 2001.

Customer Requirement

At least 200m2 of floor space to store a mixture of pallets and crates plus 200m2 of floor space for offices and workstations, all in one area measuring nom. 37.5m x 6.0m (225m2).

CSS Solution

A raised storage platform, with a loading of 4.8kn/m2. The platform is used for storing the pallets and the crates above, leaving a clear ground floor area below for the offices and workstations.

The storage platform was installed as part of a CSS contract that also included another 164m2 raised storage platform, and 60 bays of 10.2m high adjustable pallet racking.
